The Alchemy of Memory is a mixed-media exploration of how memory, culture, and experience become layered within us over time. Fragments of richly patterned textiles, intricate paisleys, jewel-toned feathers, and ornamental forms appear to fold, overlap, and emerge from one another, creating a landscape that feels both organic and architectural.

The work embraces transformation through layering—materials are altered, fragmented, sculpted, and reassembled so that something new emerges from what already existed. The peacock-like forms suggest beauty, perception, and the desire to be seen, while the concealed and revealed passages invite the viewer to look deeper.
