Step 1 sketch on canvas and then apply modeling paste with a palette knife. Recheck measurements

Step 2 add colors in layers with brush and then a palate knife.  Keep design loose.

Step 3 finalize color and add shadows to carpeted areas.  Add highlights around windows.
